todaybhav publishes daily gold, silver, platinum, petrol, diesel, CNG and LPG rates for Indian cities and states.
What this site is
Checking a rate should take one page and five seconds. Most sites that publish them bury the number under pop-ups, stale copy and a wall of unrelated articles. todaybhav does one thing: it shows today’s rate for your city, what it was yesterday, and how it compares with the cities around you.
We cover 110 places — 96 with gold and silver rates and 54 with fuel prices. The two lists are not the same, because the sources that publish them are not the same. Where a city has no data for a commodity, we say so on the page rather than showing a number borrowed from somewhere else.
Where the numbers come from
Rates are collected from publicly published retail rate feeds, normalised into a single unit per commodity, and stored with the previous day’s close so the change you see is calculated rather than copied. Every figure on the site is derived from one stored number — per gram for metals, per litre for fuel — so the per-10-gram, per-tola and per-kilogram figures can never disagree with each other.
Fuel prices are revised once a day, at 6 AM, and then hold. We read them shortly after that and again mid-morning to catch anything published late. Metal rates move through the trading day, so those pages refresh at half-hourly intervals between 9 AM and 7 PM.
What we do not do
- We do not give investment advice, price predictions, or buy and sell recommendations.
- We do not sell gold, silver, fuel or any other product.
- We do not ask you to register, and there is no account to create.
- We do not invent local detail. City pages carry only what the data actually supports — the rate, the change, and comparisons with real nearby cities.
Accuracy
These are indicative retail rates. A jeweller adds making charges and GST; a fuel pump charges the rate set for its own location. Both will differ from the figure here, which is why every page says so. If you spot a number that looks wrong, please tell us — corrections are the fastest way this gets better.
